ghost_under_bedOh yes.  Muahahaha.  It’s that time of year… time to get scared.  If the costume wearing, bar hopping, and trick or treating scene isn’t your cup of tea (or pumpkin spice latte), I bet you’re one of many who shows affection for this holiday in another way…

Here’s a glimpse at some of the most haunted places in America, with some creepy videos to match:

Oldies but Goodies: Cemeteries.

1. Bachelor’s Grove Cemetery

Location: Midlothian, Illinois

Claim to Fame: Woman on the Tombstone

2. Lafayette Cemetery # 1

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

Claim to fame: site of many Interview With A Vampire scenes

3. Western Burial Ground

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Claim to fame: Edgar Allen Poe’s gravesite (but it’s not his ghost you should worry about)

Asylums, Hotels and Jails, oh my!

4. Waverly Hills Sanatorium

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Claim to fame: Room 502-  Loonies make great ghosts.

5. The Stanley Hotel

Location: Estes Park, Colorado

Claim to fame: Inspiration for the fictional Overlook Hotel in The Shining

6. Eastern State Penitentiary

Location: Philidelphia, Pennsylvana

Claim to fame: Cell block #4
