My oh my how I love this season. Aside from the chaotic college mess that includes midterms and lengthy papers, it’s b-e-a-utiful! There’s no sweltering heat, no icy streets (yet), just nature at its colorful best.
If you are one of the lucky few, you get to share this beauty with that special someone. Don’t be afraid of the chilly wind; coil a scarf around your neck and get out there, together! There’s nothing worse than the change of season causing a change in your relationship- things can be just as hot as they were during those summer days.
Here are 5 dates that you and your significant other, or even just a close friend can enjoy in order to get the most out of this season, and keep your love alive:
1. Take a Hayride. These journeys don’t always have to be haunted- they can be gentle too. You get to bundle up, sit close, and enjoy all the scenery that fall has to offer.
2. Take a Drive. Getting lost in the car down country roads with a boy holding my hand used to be my favorite pastime. Just get in, tune the radio, turn off the GPS, and see where you end up.
3. Pumpkin Farms & Apple Orchards. Summer was strawberries and blueberries. This season, go pick out a special pumpkin with your guy or girl. Or check out an apple orchard famous for its cider!
4. Corn Maze. Lose yourselves in here. Or make it a game. No matter who wins, i’m sure when you find one another again, it will be a magical little reunion.
5. Just Snuggle. Not into PDA? Want your man/woman all to yourself? Cook up some hot chocolate, slip into something fuzzy and get to snugglin’. Don’t worry about the lack of fireplace. You don’t need a fire. Create your own!
Got a special idea in mind for you and your honey this season? Let us know!
