I have a problem. I’m a YouTubeaholic. They say recognition is the first step. Whenever I am trying to get work done on my computer and I have to use the Internet, it seems that I inevitably end up on YouTube. Lets be honest, in college you spend a lot of time on the Internet, and for me that translates into a lot of time on YouTube. In the vast realm of videos available, I always find myself back at the same handful because they make me giddy. And of this handful there is one that I just can’t get enough of. Apparently 55.9 million people feel the same way.
Its called Charlie Bit my Finger - Again!
Charlie is a baby who bite the finger of his older brother, Harry. Sounds awesome, right? Well, the video is from an English family with sick accents that make the video 237% funnier. If my children (surprise honey) did this, it wouldn’t be nearly as funny. Another thing that makes this video such a success is that it was captured in raw form. What I mean is that it was not premeditated, it was simply captured by a proud father who wanted to record his kids.
This video was such a smash hit that there have been numerous copy cats (here, here, here, here, here, and here). There is also a semi-NSFW copy cat. There have even been news interviews with the family because of the video’s incredible popularity (here and here). The father of the boys, Howard, has since posted many other videos (here and here) but none come close to touching the popularity of that famous bite.
So without further adieu, here are endless hours of entertainment…
